ABOUT THE COMPANY
Formed in 2014 Luke Brown Dance was created to devise emotionally charged and accessible performances that combine dance, text, storytelling and striking set design. Luke has worked collaboratively with a wide variety of artists that include dancers, hypnotherapists, phycologists, puppeteers, musicians, photographers, actors and singers to explore autobiographical stories and characters.
The company’s first work Second Self was created in 2014 with the support of South Hill Park, The Point Eastleigh and Swindon Dance and was later redeveloped for our double bill For You I Long the Longest alongside Princess, which we toured in the South of England in 2016 and 2018. We are now developing a new work The Dandelion Child with support from ThickSkin and Arts Council England.
