Mary Mannion

Mary trained at Northern School of Contemporary Dance. She then joined Verve, the postgraduate company, performing works by Charles Linehan, Ben Wright, Thomas Noone and Peter Mika. She has since toured work in Spain by Dan Lourenco and performed in a site-specific performance in San Sebastian choreographed by Jorge Jauregui Allue. She has performed with James Wilton, Anthony Middleton and Jordan Massarella, as well as Resolution pieces by Ash Rose in 2015 and Kip Johnson in 2013.
Mary has been a part of 80collective – a contemporary dance collective based at South Hill Park – since November 2013. She teaches Vinyasa flow yoga in various studios in London and practices regularly herself, which has been an integral part of her ongoing training as an artist since she finished vocational studies. She has taught contemporary dance and ballet to various youth dance companies, as well as Yoga at U.Dance National Festival. Her passion lies in collaborating and experimenting with movement, art and film. Mary has worked for LUKE BROWN DANCE performing in Second Self and Princess since early 2014 and is also currently dancing with Lo-Guidice Dance in Savages.
